I am excited to say I just scheduled my surgery for skin removal procedure, basically a tummy tuck without ab tightening, plus some lipo on the flanks.
Long story short, My highest weight was about 250 lbs (not in this picture, but I was at least over 200 there). Right now I’m around 125 lbs after 4 years of maintenance with frequent exercice/lifting. I was probably about 110-115 lbs in the picture though.
I got as low as 102 lbs, was very skinny, all because I was determined to get rid of the hanging belly I’m now finally having removed. People may say it is still fat that needs to be burned off, but believe me when I say I was underweight (under 18 BMI) and lost my period for a year because of my obsession to lose this little bit of fat. It was a struggle to change my mindset to gain weight back in order to get my period back and become healthy again. I hope that at least some of that is muscle though…
After 4 years of maintenance, some of my loose skin has tightened. I would suggest anyone considering skin removal to weight at least 2 years before doing so.
Anyway, here’s a pic, hope it inspires someone.
