I [28M] really let myself go last year when I started my new job after being unemployed for 6 months. Lots of free food at the office during my first month, followed by travel season, and then came the holidays. I gained almost 40 pounds from July 2019 through March 2020.
I finally had enough and made this picture to motivate myself and get back to 185. I started running 3 miles three days a week to get out of the house during quarantine and then started getting back on the bike and riding for an hour two days a week, as well.
Also, I started cooking at home having breakfast at 11am and then dinner at 6pm after my workout with a snack around 8pm/9pm. I still give myself a cheat meal on Fridays and Saturdays to keep my sanity.
Today I hit 210 after two months of changes! I’m hoping to get to 200 by my 29th birthday in July.
