My profile pic, is me at only 10 pounds less, like 5 years ago, so that’s why I feel like something made started have puffy cheeks. It’s not entirely a vanity issue.
I’ve dealt with this for a long time, and I can’t get to the bottom of it. I’ve gained about 25 pounds in the past 3 years, but even before I gained that weight my face was still “puffy”. I’ve tried everything, severely limiting carbs, sodium intake (600mg or less), and water that helps for sure (but obviously that’s not a long term solution and not healthy/dangerous? Even tried an elimination diet gluten/dairy.
I’m a male 29 y/o, 189 pounds, at 5’10”. Only thing I take is anti-depressants. Like I said it doesn’t seem like fat gain that much because I’ve dieted down to 150-155 and it made a difference, but not as much it should. My face seems “puffier-not fatter” than people in my life who are very very very very overweight.
Here’s a pic of what I mean (I was 171 pounds/5’10” in this one) https://imgur.com/ni8XeYJ
