Garmin Venu® Sq 2 GPS Smartwatch, All-Day Health Monitoring, Long-Lasting Battery Life, AMOLED Display, Cool Mint
Great upgrade for Garmin fitness band wearers. Got this brand new model because my Vivosmart 4 watch band finally broke. I didn't really want to go back to a watch form factor after wearing bands for many years. But this one is super light weight and I can wear it anywhere, even in the water. The battery lasts for days. You can download the Connect IQ app and customize the watch, including adding new features and faces. Interestingly, you can create a custom face in both the IQ app, and on the watch itself, although the options are not the same and results are not consistent.Pros:- Great screen, highly visible in varying light- Good battery life. Much better than the old vivosmart 4, seems like at least a week.- GPS - seems to work well enough on walks/runs I've done.- Nice selection of exercises built in. I've only used walk/run/swim so far. The app has been trying to get me to upload personalized running plans and workouts. Just haven't got to that yet either.- User interface is _mostly_ easy to use, once you figure it out.Cons- Extra info on faces (steps, heartbeat etc), and user interface has very small fonts. It's not a big device after all. But those of us who can't focus up close have a hard time seeing the small things without the glasses- Another weird charger connector. Next version should be able to charge wirelessly. Those other guys do it.- The included band is pretty utilitarian and I already see wear around where the buckle rubs on it. At least it's replaceable with standard sized bands.Overall I am happy with this watch so far.
Love this. I have had this for almost a year now. I've not had any issues with it. Love that I can change the face to fit my needs and track what I want to track. They have several apps that you can put on the watch to use for different activities like cycling, golfing. I haven't really gotten it wet yet. Out of habit, I take it off before showering, swimming, etc. My other fitness watches were not water resistant/proof. To me it is a nice size. People mistake it for an apple watch. My battery life has been excellent between charges. I go anywhere from 7 to 14 days between charges and that usually depends on my activity as well as what the level is when I decide to charge it. Charges quickly as well. I don't have some things constantly monitor, like the O2, and that helps as well with the battery life, I'm sure. Depending on what watch face you use, some info may be too small to read if you use reading glasses and don't have them on. I get notifications for my iPhone and can read the text and see who's calling but cannot respond to call or text from watch. I'm good with that as it gives me the freedom to not feel like I have to stop what I am doing to answer. The bands are easy to change out as well.
This is the best smart watch I have owned. I have been frustrated by multiple smart watches in the past. The battery life is great on this one, and it was easy to setup and use. I wish I had this years ago. My only wish is that the charger was wireless, but since the battery life is so long, and it quick charges, I don't mind.
GREAT battery life; awesome fitness tracker. I'm a big fan of Garmin fitness watches. The Venu Sq2 is my third Garmin - the prior two still work, but I needed more battery life now I've started to do more cycling. I also didn't want to spend a small fortune on the watch. The Venu Sq2 has a lot of bang for the buck. The battery lasts for a week even with multiple cycling trips. Some nice improvements I noticed:- The display is crisper than prior watches - even on dim, I have no problem reading the face.- The Venu recognizes sleep hours and does not light up when I move my wrist (my husband appreciates not being blinded by the watch in the middle of the night!)Like my other Garmin watches, it's waterproof, tracks my steps, and workout intensity.
Good choice for a new smartwatch owner. This is my second Venu Sq, had the original Sq first, it had a lot of function problems. So I returned it and decided to go with the Venu Sq 2, since I liked the design and did not need as many features that were on other models.I does pretty good for my needs. The lack of a hiking app was dealt with a non-Garmin app. But with activities such as walking, hiking, even timer... there is not always a quick route to start. The watch does not always go right to the start function to begin tracking. And there is a lag time for some notifications.Over all I am pretty satisfied with my watch. It is stylish and battery lasts a week plus before needing to charge.
Garmin Venu SQ2. So far it's been a great watch. Taking some getting used to after having a Fitbit for the last few years. Lots of options and features that are really helpful and easy to use. Battery lasts a very long time!
Just what I wanted. This Garmin is one of the better ones that I’ve owned. Getting approximately 11 to 12 days which I think is awesome compared to my Apple Watch. I do love my Apple Watch but I do wish that they would figure out how to make their batteries last as long as Garman does. Garmin is very good quality and it’s very lightweight. Highly recommend this Garman for anyone very easy to use and the display is not bad. Would like it a little bigger but I have to say it is good.
This beats fitbit. I bought this to replace my earlier version. This series beats my old version hands down. Screen is clear and tough. (I am not kind to my watches). The functions are great and GPS is much better and faster to track than old version. I am glad I bought this
J'aime bien ma montre. Va super bien. Je la porte depuis environ 8 mois et tout va bien. Je la charge une fois semaine pas plus.
Foi presente, mas gostamos muito
Produto muito bom, adorei. Super recomendo. Conexão rapida e facil com IOS. Bem intuitivo pelo app.
Great watch with all the features that I need and want. I have a small wrist and was worried it would look too bulky but it's very stylish. Definitely recommend!

Wearable4U Garmin Venu Sq 2 GPS Smartwatch, All-Day Health Monitoring, Long-Lasting Battery Life, AMOLED Display, White/Cream Gold E-Bank Bundle
Fantastic watch. Long battery life. Lots of info on watch which means that you don't have to open the app often. Sleep tracking is very accurate. Heart rate monitor is accurate as well.
Enjoy more than Apple watch. Had a Fitbit and then “upgraded” to an Apple Watch. Didn’t like how I always had to worry about battery life with the Apple Watch. Couldn’t use it for sleep tracking due to this (unless I wanted to charged multiple times per day). Decided to try this watch and have been completely satisfied. No more worrying about battery and I now have activity and sleep tracking. I also am happy with the notifications and don’t miss not being able to reply to text messages from my watch. Finally, I like how Garmin focuses on steps over minutes which is an easier goal for me.
Great smart watch. Works great and maintains charge. Also recharges quickly and easily.
Seems pretty good. Seems to be fine. Too early to tell.
great battery life. this is my second watch, love the product, covers all information I need and more....and battery life is better than phones these days...although they are getting better.
Three Units in a row that do not work with the Garmin app. This is the third unit i have purchased that does not work. The problem is the same on all of them.It completes the setup on the device with no issues. However, it does not connect with the app. It is stuck in a loop where it never finishes the application installation. I gets to the end of the setup and starts the setup process all over again. I have tried tech support, but they have turned the issue to their engineers who I have yet to hear from. Are there any fitness devices out there that actually work anymore?
Garmin very good product. This product has been great and performs just as it was described …I use it for my fitness routine and am very happy with it.
Heart rate, sleep state... not so much. It's pretty. The watch faces are nice and programmable. It keeps time. It maintains a charge for 10 to 11 days. All that .. thumbs up.The heart rate is suspect. I have several treadmills with pulse monitoring and they all measure heart rate at 10-30 bpm higher than this watch. Say what you want about their accuracy, it's many against one and I know what my heart rate is at a given rate of walking speed. The Garmin loses that comparison.Which casts doubt on Garmin's stress level - that is, HRV (heart rate variability) which I always get a bad score on when resting. And that in turn affects overall sleep score. 😴 I'm not confused by mechanized measurement but if I am to rate a watch's performance then thumbs down on that.Lastly there us sleep detection. Do NOT have insomnia with this watch. If you're up for 45 minutes or more, it considers your sleep over. Even if you then go back to sleep for hours afterwards. Bad programming..Given the not so cheap score and the raving reviews I have to give this watch 2 stars. Not worth the $$ and not up to the hype.
